Considering I'm 20937 words behind on my novel thanks to orientation eating my brain I am going to try and get 5000 words done today. That means that I'm not getting online and might possibly be turning off my internet completely to avoid distractions. If all goes well I'll be online tonight to chat with people.

Edit: 4187 words written so far and my attention span is turning into "oh look shiny". I have less than 900 words left to write. Surely I can manage this tonight.

Edit 2: 5044 words in one day. It's scary that I have to do that several more times before I'll be caught up.
