Title: Mine
Characters: Tezuka, Eiji, Oishi
Rating: PG
Summary: Tezuka and Eiji both want claim on Oishi.
"You can't have him!" Tezuka turned his attention from the game his vice-captain was playing to the redhead standing next to him, shocked at the outcry that seemed to have halted practice.
"Excuse me?" he asked, not sure what was going on. Kikumaru rarely lashed out at anyone, least of all his captain. "What's gotten into you today?"
Kikumaru glared at Tezuka with more venom that the captain had ever seen. "You. Can't. Have. Him." Kikumaru stated slowly as if Tezuka were too slow witted to have gotten it the first time around.
"What are you talking about, Kikumaru? I'd like a straight answer." Now Tezuka was just getting annoyed with the redhead's behavior that had gotten the attention of ever member of his club.
"You can't have Oishi. He's mine!" Jaws hit the ground around the courts and the vice-captain in question turned a vibrant shade of red.
"Yours?" Tezuka questioned, amused by this turn of events. Of course the two were doubles partners, the famous Golden Pair, but he knew perfectly well that they weren't dating.
"Yes! Everyone knows that!" Kikumaru stated firmly, arms folded across his chest and looking smug and annoyed at the same time.
Tezuka quirked an eyebrow at that statement. "Everyone? Are you sure Oishi knows?"
Kikumaru huffed and looked over his doubles partner briefly before turning back to Tezuka. "Of course he knows!"
Tezuka adjusted his glasses slightly. "I don't think he does given what he's told me before."
Kikumaru looked slightly affronted by this statement. "You're making things up because you're jealous," he finally decided.
"Ask him," Tezuka suggested as he folded his arms easily across his chest and watched Kikumaru get more annoyed.
"Oishi! Tell Tezuka that you're mine!" he shouted over to his doubles partner who could do no more than stare. "Oishi!" The vice-captain walked off the court, not bothering to grab his stuff, and headed straight to the clubhouse, slamming the door behind him. Kikumaru turned his most hateful glare on Tezuka. "This is all your fault for checking him out all practice!" he shouted and ran for the clubroom.
"20 laps, everyone!" he shouted out before heading to the clubroom himself. When he got there Oishi was sitting on a bench, head in his hands and Kikumaru was standing a few inches from him. "This has gotten out of hand."
Kikumaru turned, glaring and ready to say something when Oishi interrupted. "Why were you doing that? There's no reason why you should be giving the team ideas like that, Eiji," he said softly, lifting his head.
Kikumaru's attention was completely diverted to Oishi. "But… Oishi… it's not the wrong idea," he said. "Is it?"
Oishi sighed and looked away. "Eiji, we're doubles partners and friends. That's it."
Kikumaru blinked slowly, not really processing it all. "So you and Tezuka…" he trailed off, not wanting to go any further than that.
Tezuka rubbed his forehead. "No, Kikumaru. He's not going out with me either," he assured. Granted, if he could convince Oishi to change that he would, but so far all of his attempts had failed.
Oishi leaned back against the lockers and stared at his hands. "It's not that I don't like you both, I do, but I don't want to date anyone right now. You're both going to have to accept that."
Kikumaru looked heartbroken but nodded all the same. "O..okay, Oishi," he whispered. "I'm going back to practice," he muttered and hurried out of the small room.
Oishi looked to Tezuka. "Back to practice, Oishi," he ordered. The vice-captain sighed and got to his feet, walking past Tezuka, but not meeting his eyes at all.
"Sorry," he muttered, almost out the door, but Tezuka caught his arm.
"You're not the one who should be apologizing," Tezuka said softly before letting him go. "I'll be back in a minute. If they're done running their laps see to it they get back to what they were assigned to before that drama."
Oishi nodded as he walked out and closed the door behind him. Tezuka needed a minute or two to recollect himself before he could be the team's captain again.

Both Eiji and Tezuka have their good and bad points maybe that is why he doesn't want anyone of them.
