Ohtori sat on the floor in the kitchen of his shared apartment. Shishido would be coming home any minute and his attempt at making a red velvet cake was a disaster. There were ingredients everywhere and the cake tasted horrible. All he wanted was to make Shishido a cake for his birthday, but he had failed miserably and now all he wanted to do was cry over it. He was 22-years-old and he wanted to cry over a cake. That was pathetic.

Shishido walked into the kitchen where Ohtori was sitting on the floor surrounded by a mess of ingredients for something and what he was assuming was a cake on the kitchen counter. “Choutarou, what’s going on here?”

Ohtori looked up and he did cry at the sight of Shishido staring at the mess. “I tried to make you a birthday cake, but it turned out horribly. I’m so sorry.”

Shishido shook his head as Ohtori’s tears slipped down his face slowly. He walked over and straddled the taller man’s lap as he cupped his face in his hands. “I don’t care, Choutarou, I really don’t.” He leaned in and captured Ohtori’s lips in a heated kiss as his hands started to roam over his body. Really, he could be so emotional sometimes it was like dating a girl. Oh well, he’d let Ohtori have these cute little moments if it meant spoiling the taller man in bed when he came home from a long day of work.

Ohtori submitted to the kisses happily as he forgot all about the ruined red velvet cake on the counter and thought about the red velvet sheet he’d put on their bed earlier in the day.
